In England overtaking on left is illegal as this is the slower lane…

@Lev – Wrong, it’s not illegal, and there is no slow lane. On the motorway each lane is limited to 70mph. HGV’s are restricted to 60mph and may only use the 1st and 2nd lane.
If there is a HGV in the middle lane, you can over(under) take it in the 1st lane.
Texas plates, of course…at least we warn you..
