Don’t Get Your Dogs Drunk
While much of the following commentary may be of a satirical nature, we’d like to point out that dogs and special kids aren’t here for our amusement.
We found a Flickr photo entitled “German Shorthaired Pointer Getting His Drink On” from some guy named WastedInTheKeys, who had this further to say about the image:
I like to get my dog drunk because he acts very funny and it is fun to watch him, and 99 Bananas is his favorite, I think because it is 99 proof.
Now, animal activists are everywhere (yes, including the south), so of course someone replied to the photo’s owner. Here’s what they had to say:

Get a life and mind your own business!! What the hell is this “companion animals” crap?!? This dog is a pet and only a pet that I own and can do what ever the hell I want with! If i want to take this dog out to the back 40 and shoot him in the head, well, so be it! Also, who the hell are you to tell me what I should and should not give to my dog ?!? Idiots like you are always telling people not to feed dogs chocolate! Why, cause you are mean and don’t want dogs to ever eat anything yummy? I feed my dog chocolate all the time, and he loves it. He also loves alcohol, especially 99 Bananas. Other than 99 Bananas, he now likes to drink straight vodka, but it took me a while to get him to drink it. Did you laugh? Okay, we did too, but this guy is still an asshole. You shouldn’t get your dog drunk (dogs like to eat cat shit too, but we don’t feed it to them) and you definitely shouldn’t allow your dog to chase retarded children down the street.
